Binary Thoughts belongs to my series "Paramnesia". In psychology, paramnesia is a distortion of memory—the sensation of remembering things that never actually happened. It creates a confusing mix of familiarity and strangeness.

This self-portrait is a visual metaphor for our modern condition: we are hyper-connected yet profoundly isolated. We search for constant approval in a digital space that feels real, but often leaves us empty.
